Who We Are
Heart for Hull wants to create a lasting difference by supporting and resourcing our Church Leaders in the Hull Deanery and City so they can be released to share the good news of Jesus and serve their communities.
Heart for Hull has been birthed from the Hull Deanery Plan, envisioned by the Bishop of Hull and shaped with Church leaders across the Hull Deanery.
The Heart for Hull Team are here to support churches and local leadership in Hull Deanery to develop 6 key workstreams:
Missional Discipleship
Poverty & Wholeness
Children and Young People
Church planting and renewal
Grassroots and Parish Ministry
Hull Minster
The Heart 4 Hull Working Group is made up of local leaders working together to identify key ideas and initiatives that sit within each workstream. As a group they will agree on the priorities that start to appear and then test them with people in local churches to ensure they could be delivered successfully in communities across the city and what resources, including funding.
Prayer is the energy that runs through all the Heart for Hull work. Prayer helps us to listen to what God is calling us to do and to serve Him in the transformation that is desired for Hull.
